Guidelines and standards are essential to establish and maintain good anaesthesia practice and high quality service, reflecting the changing UK healthcare environment - specifically as it affects anaesthetists.

The College represents the profession to the departments of health and various regulators throughout the UK. We aim for the professional standards represented here to be current and applicable to all UK public and independent healthcare environments so they may provide clear and concise direction.
