As an elected member of the Trainee Committee one of my work streams is the Lay Committee. The LC plays an important role in allowing the college to ensure that patients’ interests and concerns are heard. This allows us to improve the service we as anaesthetists offer to our patients.  It is a pleasure to sit on a committee with such a diverse group of people.
