Patient information leaflet series 2014

A series of guides to help patients prepare for an anaesthetic developed jointly by the College and Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) have now been updated. They give general guidance and discuss specific aspects of care.

The College is grateful to Dr Lucy White, Consultant Anaesthetist, University Hospitals Southampton NHSFT, for co-ordinating and leading this project. We also thank the many patients and patient representatives who have contributed to this revision.
