Scotland to join National Recruitment in Anaesthesia

We are pleased to announce that Scotland will be joining the rest of the UK in the National Recruitment into Anaesthesia, coordinated by the RCoA and West Midlands Deanery.

National Recruitment was first carried out in 2009, but recruitment in Scotland has been conducted separately. Scottish selection processes have been broadly similar, and there has been close cooperation on the development of the system and selection methodology.

This new change, which has been supported by the Scottish Government, will be effective from the next round of recruitment for CT and ST posts commencing in February 2013.
