On Thursday 10th December 2009, the NIAA Grants Committee met to consider the second round of 2009 applications for funding on behalf of The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI)& Anaesthesia and British Journal Anaesthesia & The Royal College of Anaesthetists.

We considered 25 applications over four catergories for a requested sum of £1,096,642 and made a total of 10 awards to a value of £294,705. Details of the funded work can be found below.
