The Patient Information Group

The Patient Information Group is a sub-committee at the RCoA which is responsible for developing and keeping our patient information up-to-date. We are keen to develop information in varied formats as different people like to find out information in different ways.
The detail of the information you want will also depend on what you know already. Some people know very little about what an anaesthetic is so want some basic information to start with. Others have already had several anaesthetics and might want some more detailed information.
The Patient Information Committee is made up of:
- specialist anaesthetists and trainees
- Lay Committee members who represent the views of patients
- members from the RCoA administration who develop the design and technical side of our information. They are also important in the administration for all that the committee does.
Please do let us know if you have ideas for other topics you would find useful or for how you would like us to display our information.
We are always happy to receive feedback on our leaflets and how we can improve the information we produce for patients. You can provide your feedback by emailing patientinformation@rcoa.ac.uk or you can write to us at:
