Abstract competition

Trainees are welcome to submit an abstract entry outlining a patient safety project that they have completed. Submissions will be assessed and the authors of the highest-scoring abstracts in the preliminary review will be invited to present their work orally. A prize will be awarded for the best short presentation (five minutes with two minutes for discussion), based on the presentation itself and the ensuing discussion. The next ten highest scoring abstract authors will be invited to present a poster.

Abstracts should detail a project or an initiative with interesting outcomes relevant to the wider audience, and demonstrate an understanding of current thinking and challenges in patient safety.

Please send submissions to salg@rcoa.ac.uk

Deadline: Midnight on Sunday 17th September 2017
Candidates will be notified by Monday, 2nd October 2017 on the status of their application.
