I completed my medical training and foundation training in Yorkshire, where after a year out of training enjoying travelling and a anaesthetic fellowship I decided on training as an anaesthetist. I obtained a training number in Thames Valley and have done all my anaesthetic training in the deanery. During this time, I have focussed on teaching, my main focus has been in teaching novices having taught on the regional novice anaesthetist course for five years, and been course lead for the past three years.  This has given me a strong motivation to improve training and well being in the region.
