NIAA Research Award 2019

We are accepting applications for the NIAA Research Award, which is aimed at currently active UK researchers within anaesthesia, perioperative care or pain. It provides a great opportunity for new investigators to achieve recognition through presentation at a national meeting with peer review. The prize winner receives an honorarium of £500 and a certificate.

Applicants should have a project or ‘body of work’ (equivalent to two or more research papers on one subject, or from an MD/PhD thesis) that covers an evidence-based research question. The work may have been presented at a scientific meeting or published as an abstract or full paper in a peer reviewed journal.

Those shortlisted will be invited to present on day 2 of Anaesthesia Research 2019 (3rd December) and applicants should ensure they are available on this date in the event of being shortlisted. The overall winner will be announced on the day at the event.

For further details and how to apply for this award please click here: www.niaa.org.uk/NIAA-Research-Award#pt

The closing date for applications is 5pm, Monday 7 October 2019.
