Over the last few years, there have been some unimaginable traumatic emergencies, which have tested our NHS to its limits. By their very nature, it is impossible to predict these incidents and therefore it is imperative that we honestly reflect on our responses to past events in order to be as well prepared as possible in future.

Join us as we take a closer look at how hospitals in different cities and countries deal with the aftermath of disasters such as; the London Bridge attack, the Grenfell Tower fire and the attacks in Paris. Speakers with different responsibilities during these major incidents will discuss what went well for them, what didn’t go as well and what they’d do differently next time.

Come away from the event with a deeper understanding of how, in the face of unspeakable tragedy, we all come together to get the best possible result.

Key topics include:

  • London Bridge attack
  • Westminster attack
  • Grenfell Tower fire
  • Battlefield attacks
  • Dealing with the family
  • Orthopaedic injuries

Please view the programme to see all the engaging lectures taking place on the day.
