Join the Faculty of Pain Medicine for our 12th Annual meeting.  As well as a useful updates day, it is an opportunity for pain medicine doctors to get together with other members of the Faculty and the Faculty Board. The day includes lectures by highly regarded speakers, a Faculty update and the Patrick Wall Lecture followed by the award of the Patrick Wall medal. 

Topics include:

  • CRPS and limb amputation
  • Opioid and gabapeninoid co-prescribing for chronic pain
  • Analgesic use for pain in pregnancy
  • Are acute pain teams value for money?
  • Debate on whether cannabinoids should now be prescribed for chronic pain
  • Patrick Wall Lecture: The curate's egg of Evidence Based Medicine: an appraisal
