Overview:

A one-day conference in the highly topical area of enhanced patient preparation prior to major surgery (prehabilitation). The conference is intended for medical and allied healthcare professionals engaged in patient care before, during and after major surgery.  The programme comprises a range of cutting-edge topics, delivered in a lecture-based format by international and high profile speakers from a range of specialties. There will be a free paper/poster session for trainees (and other healthcare professionals) to showcase research, audit and service improvement projects.

The learning objectives are to familiarise delegates with the latest and future developments in prehabilitation. The content is specifically designed to cover integrated cross specialty working, whilst learning from existing successful models, to enable delivery of high quality perioperative care to patients.
