All trainees in the Welsh School of Anaesthesia are invited and encouraged to attend the Royal College of Anaesthetists Listening Event on Thursday 8th June. This is your opportunity to meet with the RCoA President, Dr Liam Brennan and talk about the issues impacting on your training in an informal setting with lunch provided.

The event takes place in the Small Dental Lecture Theatre, University Hospital of Wales.

Trainees in UHW will be released from lists to attend the meeting and lunch. All other South Wales trainees can book study leave to attend.

A live video conference feed of the Listening Event will be available at Wrexham Maelor Hospital for trainees unable to attend at UHW on the day.

Come along to discuss the pressures and issues facing anaesthetic trainees in Wales, raise anything you would like the College to address and talk about potential solutions.

Registration is free and lunch will be provided in both sites.

Purpose of event

The listening events will be informal, focusing on discussion and listening.  The primary purpose is for the views of anaesthetists in Training to be communicated back into the  College, so you should feel relaxed to speak freely about any issue, in a supportive and confidentail environment.  this is your College and we represent  you.
