Right Patient Right Professional Right Time
The Faculty launched its Right Patient Right Professionals Right Time initiative at a parliamentary reception in November 2015.
Developed to accompany Core Standards for Pain Management Services, the Faculty produced two documents to contextualise Core Standards, emphasise the importance for patient care and highlight some other interlinking work streams:
· Helping People with Chronic Pain: A rallying call for patients, relatives and carers
· The Future for People with Chronic Pain: A briefing document for commissioners, politicians and national stakeholders
These have been cascaded widely to key individuals across the four home nations including to stakeholders as diverse as Pain UK, Scotland’s National Co-ordinator for Chronic Pain, members of the Northern Ireland Assembly Health Committee, Public Health Wales, HEE, the BMA and, in due course, members of both Houses of Parliament.
