College and Faculty of Pain elections

Following the completion of the 2016-2017 RCoA elections for President and Vice Presidents we are pleased to announce that Dr Liam Brennan (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) has been elected President for a second year.

Dr Jeremy Langton (Plymouth Hospital NHS Trust) has been elected Vice-President for a second year and Professor Ravi Mahajan (Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust) has been elected Vice-President for a first year with effect from September 2016.

Dr Brennan, RCoA President commented: “I am honoured to be re-elected for a second year as President. I look forward to working with Vice-Presidents Jeremy Langton and Ravi Mahajan and the rest of Council in 2016-17”.

New Faculty of Pain Medicine Dean and Vice-Dean

The Faculty of Pain Medicine of the RCoA has also completed its 2016-2017 elections and is pleased to announce that Dr Barry Miller (Bolton NHS Foundation Trust) has been elected as the Faculty’s new Dean and Dr John Hughes (South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), the new Vice-Dean.  Both will take up office from September 2016.
