Dinwoodie National Simulation Fellow – Applications Open
After receiving funding from the Dinwoodie Charitable Company to fund an Anaesthetic Simulation project the RCoA is looking for applications for the Dinwoodie National simulation fellow to complete the second year of this project. This role will be the central clinical point of contact for the RCoA regional simulation leads as well as working with the Education and Professional Development Committee to provide leadership, innovation and operational development for the RCoA simulation project.
This role is suitable for anaesthetists in training wishing to develop their expertise in simulation applied to education, training and clinical practice, who hold the Primary FRCA or equivalent.
This fellowship role will cover 2 days per week for one year, and it is expected that this time will be taken as OOPE although it may be possible to count some time towards a CCT programme (OOPT) by prior negotiation. This senior trainee should have a keen interest in simulation and have undertaken a simulation role within their trust.
We are looking for the sucessful applicant to start the role in August 2023
