Webcasts
Please note there may be interruptions to Webcasting services due to maintenance work. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The RCoA uses a webcasting platform to provide a range of the College’s educational programme:
- Free access to webcasts of selected lectures.
- No need for login details.
- Earn CPD credits by viewing webcasts.
- Highlighted CPD webcast of the month.
- Watch at a time that suits you.
The opinions and views expressed in the webcasts are those of the speakers and not the College’s. The College has a new webcasting platform to supplement our growing online educational resources. This new technology, provided by market leader, Mediasite, enables users to access a broader range of the College’s excellent educational programme by providing open and free access to selected educational meetings, events and lectures online. These taster sessions, which can be viewed on demand via PCs and MACs, will not only give you an insight into the day, but will also provide support for revalidation by easing time and financial constraints that may restrict doctor’s ability to attend events in person. The system’s Q&A facility will additionally offer the ability to review key questions and discussions generated as a result of the presentation; as well as to submit your own questions to the speaker for response.
