Acute Common Care Stem (ACCS) guidance for LLP users

The Acute Care Common Stem (ACCS) is a core training programme for doctors managing acutely unwell patients. It is the only route into Higher Specialty Training (HST) in Emergency Medicine and an alternative pathway for Anaesthetics and other approved specialties.

  • Trainees collect evidence for each of the 11 ACCS Learning Outcomes through assessments, panel reviews, courses, and reflections.
  • This will  be a mix of  workplace-based assessments (WPBAs), panel judgements (MCR/MTR/FEGS), e-learning, courses, reflections, and more.
