Why has the College postponed/cancelled upcoming conferences and events?
As a professional body responsible for the specialty of anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine throughout the UK, the College takes seriously its responsibility to protect clinicians and the public from contracting COVID-19 and to ensure that the NHS is as prepared as it can be for increased demand.
As most of those attending our events are doctors and other health professionals, this move signals the College’s concern to protect the NHS frontline workforce as best it can.
What happens to my organisations booking?
We will automatically cancel your booking; refunds will be processed automatically, and we will contact you again in due course when we have further information on future dates.
Will the costs of sponsor / exhibitor company staff’s prearranged travel and accommodation be reimbursed?
In the event of postponement or cancellation of the exhibition for any cause not within the control of the organiser, the organiser shall not be liable to the exhibitor in respect of any actions claims costs or expenses including claims for consequential losses.
