A joint event between the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Association of Anaesthetists. 

Join us online to explore Less Than Full-Time (LTFT) Training in Anaesthesia and ICM from the perspectives of both residents and trainers.

We'll cover a range of topics including:

  • What is LTFT training?
  • Returning to work after a period of absence
  • Rostering, slot sharing and pay.

 

Where permitted, talks will be recorded and made available to delegates post event. Once registered you will have access to the recorded material for up to six months after the live event. Viewing of the recording will carry the same number of CPD points.

Pricing Terms and Conditions

Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. The RCoA, FICM and FPM are unable to hold places on events without payment. Credit or debit card payments must be made online via our card payment handler Stripe, or by phone. We do not accept purchase orders or raise invoices for places on our events. 

Discounts are available for some membership types at the rates stated above. You must be eligible for the discount both at the time of the booking and at the time of the event itself. We may ask for proof of your member status at any point. If you are unable to prove your entitlement to the discount we may charge you the full event rate, or invite you to update your membership status accordingly. In such a situation we may withhold access to the event until your updated payment clears, or your new membership status is confirmed.

Dr Nicola Hickman
RCoA Bernard Johnson Adviser for LTFT Training

Dr Nicola Hickman is a consultant anaesthetist in Leicester, with a specialist interest in obstetric anaesthesia. Nicola has been involved with education and training since the start of her consultant career - with ES, CT, TPD and more latterly Deputy Head of School roles. Nicola has always championed the causes of LTFT trainees, before 'LTFT Champions' existed, and is now doing her best to do the same for the RCoA as the Bernard Johnson Adviser for LTFT.
