Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) 17 October 2023

The College’s Board of Trustees has called an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of the membership. The meeting will take place online on 17 October 2023, starting at 6.30pm BST.

The EGM has been called in response to a requisition, including six resolutions, that has been proposed by individual College members with the support of 0.75% of the membership. This is in accordance with changes made to the College’s governance to amplify the membership's voice, which were proposed by the Board of Trustees and approved at AGM in December 2022.

The resolutions that have been proposed by members can be found here. Additional resolutions may be added over time, so please check back on this web page in the coming weeks.

In line with our rules governing General Meetings, any eligible member wishing to submit additional resolutions for this EGM can do so up to 5.00pm BST on 21 September 2023, provided they have the support of 0.75% of the membership. Please read the resolutions already received and the instructions in our FAQs before submitting additional resolutions.

Members will be able to register for the EGM from 26 September 2023. You will be sent an email from electoral services provider Mi-Voice, which will contain all you need to register to attend online or to choose to exercise a proxy vote if you are unable to attend.  The email on 26 September 2023 will be issued from elections@mi-voice.com with the subject line 'RCoA EGM 2023: Important attendance and voting information'. Proxy voting will close on Friday 13 October 2023 at 11.59am BST

We will keep you informed via this web page and on email.
