This is part 2 of episode 3 in a series of podcasts on the 2021 Anaesthetics curriculum. Dr Oli Pratt continues his conversation with Dr Jo Budd and Dr Gethin Pugh about the changes to assessments in the new curriculum and the developments made to help support training progression.

Dr Pratt is a Consultant Anaesthetist with over 10 years’ experience in anaesthesia training, at a local, regional and national level. He spent 7 years as a College Tutor in Salford as well as serving as Lead College Tutor, and is now a Training Programme Director in the North West School of Anaesthesia. He is also a Primary FRCA examiner
Dr Budd is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist at Hereford County Hospital. She is Chair of the Anaesthetic Curriculum Development and Assurance Group, is a Regional Advisor (Anaesthetics) and is also an FRCA Examiner.
Dr Pugh is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist at Morriston Hospital in Swansea. He led the College's Train the Trainer programme for the new curriculum and is also an Associate Dean at HEIW.
