Professor Anil Hormis is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. He also works as a Consultant in Pre- hospital Emergency Medicine with the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
He is the President of the British Society of Orthopaedic Anaesthetists (BSOA) and specialises in Anaesthesia for major upper and lower limb Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery.
He is the Director of Research & Development at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. His main research interests are in the prevention of Delirium in the elderly after major surgery and the use of advanced patient monitoring techniques for this group of patients.

Rosie Hogg is a consultant anaesthetist based at the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust with a specialist interest in regional anaesthesia. After graduating from the University of Leeds she completed her anaesthesia training in Northern Ireland. She was awarded a postgraduate MD from Queens University Belfast following research focused on patient-centred outcomes & regional anaesthesia and spent a year as visiting faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2014.
Her clinical interests include the development & integration of perioperative point of care ultrasound & the use of regional anaesthesia in improvement of perioperative outcomes. In addition to her clinical responsibilities she works for the Department of Health on the future development of elective care in Northern Ireland.
