It is almost time to vote for the candidates you would like to see support the College and its specialties and represent your voice and your interests. Elections for two Co-opted Anaesthetist in Training posts on the Council of the Royal College of Anaesthetists will open on the 30th August 2022 and follows a call for nominations which was issued to the eligible membership categories on 27 August 2022.

Those who will be standing for election are listed below (in the order their applications were received). Terms of office begin in September 2022.

Who can vote?

Voting eligibility is set out in the College’s Charter & Ordinances and is specific to the category of each vacancy.

Next steps

To help us to ensure that the process is independent and fair we are again using leading ballot services provider Civica Election Services (CES) to conduct the election.

Electronic ballots will be sent by email to eligible voters on 30 August 2022 – look out for a message from RCoAvote. Your ballot will be sent to the main email address that you have registered with the College.

Your ballot email will take you to an election website where you can read the candidates’ statements and cast your vote.

You need to vote by no later than midday on 12 September 2022.
