I would like to thank all twelve candidates who stood for these three positions on our Council.  Putting oneself forward for election is no small undertaking and their willingness to do so speaks to their dedication and to the strength of our specialty.

“I am especially pleased that despite the continuing pressure on health services, we have had so many candidates who are willing to offer their time and experience to their College and its membership. Thank you all for stepping forward.

"Congratulations to Dr Chris Carey, Dr Chris Taylor, and Dr Catherine Bernard. I look forward to working closely with all of you alongside your fellow Council members, other volunteers and staff to advance the work we are doing on behalf of our growing membership. I would also like to thank all members who took the time to cast their vote. The Council and its elections are pivotal to the College’s work and it is heartening to see the membership so engaged with this process.
