Members have until 26 June 2022 to ‘opt-in’ to receive BJA Education in printed form

Published: 17/05/2022

Please note you are no longer able to opt-in to receiving the BJA or BJA Education online as the deadline has now passed.

As we previously announced BJA Education moves online from July 2022. The BJA itself moved to a digital format in January 2022 – BJA Education will follow suit but will also retain a printed version for RCoA members until July 2023.

Members in eligible membership categories will be able to opt in to receive the paper versions of BJA Education until they cease in July 2023. If you would like to continue to receive the printed version while it is available, please update your preferences in your MyRCoA account or by emailing membership@rcoa.ac.uk before midnight on 26 June 2022 with your CRN, name, and either your address or your GMC number. After this time it will not be possible to opt-in for the printed version, although you will be able to access BJAEducation online via the MyRCoA portal.

Members have already been accessing the digital BJA via the MyRCoA member portal; the current edition is available as a flipbook and all archive articles are in a searchable format.

Access to MyRCoA is via a log-in through email address and password. Most members have now activated their log-ins but we know some are still to do so. If you need assistance, please do see our how-to video or contact membership@rcoa.ac.uk

Access to the BJA and BJA Education is one of several benefits you receive as a member of the College and/or one of our Faculties. We offer benefits and services to support you throughout your career, from access to the Lifelong Learning platform and its CPD functionality, to support and guidance through examinations, clinical practice guidance and revalidation. See the Benefits of membership section of the RCoA website for a full list.
