Invited reviews

The College is committed to working with healthcare organisations (HCOs) to achieve and maintain high standards of perioperative and anaesthesia care. In line with this commitment, the invited review programme is an advisory service offered to NHS and independent HCOs in the UK who feel that they would benefit from expert and independent advice to support locally implemented solutions to improve the anaesthesia services they offer. The College's invited review process is run in accordance with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges' framework of operating principles for managing invited reviews within healthcare.

The College also runs invited reviews for intensive care medicine in conjunction with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.

All enquiries and submissions are strictly confidential and each request will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

To request an invited review, please complete the proforma and email it to invitedreviews@rcoa.ac.uk
