After five years at the RCoA, our Chief Executive Jono Brüün will step down in December to become CEO of the Royal College of Physicians. Since joining in 2020, Jono has played a pivotal part in shaping the College's long-term strategic direction.

Following consideration of a member survey on assisted dying/assisted suicide, Council has taken the decision to change the College’s position on assisted dying/assisted suicide from ‘no stance’ to ‘neutral’, on the basis that a neutral position more closely aligns with the views of a majority of respondents.
Professor Will Harrop-Griffiths and Dr Russell Perkins have been elected (unopposed) as Vice-Presidents of the College.
